Biostatistics and Data Management
The Biostatistics Shared Resource has grown to meet the expanding needs of Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC) members. Over the last few years, we have continued to increase in size and effort. Recently, we have added personnel dedicated to data management. In fact, our name now reflects this emphasis: Biostatistics and Data Management. This user's guide should help LCCC members in their interactions with and use of Biostatistics and Data Management here at the Cancer Center.

Activities Supported by Biostatistics and Data Management
Current Biostatistics Facility activity can be categorized into five major areas; Peer-reviewed funded research, grant preparation, clinical protocol development, analysis of completed trials and unfunded research. Each of these activities is described in more detail below. More details on Data Management activity will be forth coming as this part of the Facility becomes more established.
