6th Annual UNC Lineberger Beach Ball
Five hundred guests strolled
on the boardwalk at the 6th Annual UNC Lineberger Beach Ball held on
April 18, 2009. In addition to music by The Troupers, dancing, a silent
auction and a raffle, and food and drink, party-goers were also entertained
by a roaming magician and tattoo (temporary) artists.
The event raised $100,000 to benefit UNC Lineberger's cancer treatment, research and prevention programs. Over $30,000 was raised through the silent auction.
