5th Annual Hats and Hearts Contest

To benefit UNC Patients Dealing with Cancer-Related Hair Loss.

The Oncology Patient and Family Resource Center holds this contest every year to make comfortable and stylish hats available to men and women experiencing hair loss due to cancer treatment…at no charge. After the contest is over, all hats will be donated to UNC cancer patients experiencing hair loss.

Registration for this event is now open. Please register by Friday, August 29, 2008. There are several ways to register:

• Fill out and submit the registration form online.
• Call 919-843-0680.
• Or pick up a printed entry form in the Women’s Health Information Center or the Oncology Patient and Family Resource Center.

Important Reminders

• All finished hats are due by Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Learn where and how to deliver your hat.
• Be sure to follow the instructions for hatmakers criteria. Hats that do not meet the criteria will not be eligible for an award.
