Located in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our lab studies a variety of aspects of Epstein-Barr virus: viral latency and reactivation, cell-cycle regulation of viral genes, antiviral drugs, signaling pathways, tumor invasion, and interferon regulatory factors.

The lab is headed by Joseph Pagano, MD, Lineberger Professor of Cancer Research and Founder & Director Emeritus of the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
